Property Manager:
Ava Maxwell
Ava is a junior at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, where she’s pursuing a B.S. in Business with a concentration in Marketing. Passionate about connecting with others, Ava brings a warm smile and positive energy to everything she does.
When she’s not helping guests find their perfect room, you’ll find Ava traveling the world, being a dog mom, exploring Farmer’s Markets, and diving into all things Christmas.

Hospitality Specialist/Housekeeping Coordinator:
Lori Byram
Lori is a local and has lived in Middle Georgia all her life. She retired from Robins Air Force Base after dedicating over 32 years supporting our country as a civilian worker. Lori brings with her a passion for cleanliness and takes pride in every detail. Also, she inherited her grandmother and mother’s traits for serving others with pride and dignity. You will find Lori excels at preparing southern class dishes.
When she is not serving guests, you will find Lori taking care of her household, her dog Lizzy, and traveling.

Hospitality Service Associate:
Judi Wingate
Judi is a graduate of Augusta College with a BBA. She enjoyed a rewarding 33-year career as a teacher at Dodge County High School before joining our team.
Now happily retired from the classroom, Judi channels her love of people into creating memorable experiences for our guests. She enjoys crafting, exploring flea markets, spending time in her garden, and a good sense of humor.
Judi looks forward to greeting every guest with her humor and making you feel right at home during your stay at Peacock Place. Come say hi to Judi.
House Treat Specialist:
Peggy
Peggy is our beloved orange cat and unofficial snack inspector here at the property. Though she only has three legs, she doesn’t let that slow her down — especially when it’s mealtime! Peggy never meets a stranger and has a knack for convincing guests she’s absolutely starving (don’t be fooled — she’s fed very well!).
At times, she tries to sneak inside and will happily stick her head in the bowl before you’ve even finished pouring her food. With her bright personality and endless appetite, Peggy makes every guest feel right at home.
Chief Comfort Officer:
Felix
Felix is our handsome black and white gentleman. Though he can be a little shy at first, once he warms up, he’s one of the most affectionate cats you’ll ever meet!
Much like his friend Peggy, Felix has a deep appreciation for mealtime — he’s never one to turn down a snack! Whether he’s lounging in a sunny spot or quietly keeping an eye on the food bowl, Felix adds a touch of calm charm to our little family. His gentle nature and loving personality make him a guest favorite once you’ve earned his trust (and maybe offered a treat).
Executive Lounging Officer:
Fatty Arbuckle
Fatty Arbuckle is our charming grey and white cat who loves comfort, quiet, and a good nap. Shy and skittish, he prefers to observe from a cozy corner before coming out to mingle.
Though he never misses a meal, Fatty Arbuckle has a habit of waiting until nobody is around before quietly sneaking in to eat. His calm, independent nature and love of peace make him a unique and beloved member of our little family — perfect for guests who enjoy a soft-spoken feline companion.
